Russia's space agency Roscosmos is considering collaborating with China to install a nuclear power plant on the moon between 2033-2035, aiming to support potential lunar settlements. Head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, mentioned plans for a nuclear-powered cargo spaceship and emphasized the need for nuclear energy due to the limitations of solar panels. Despite recent setbacks, Russia aims to launch further lunar missions and explore the possibility of joint missions with China, while China aims to put the first Chinese astronaut on the moon before 2030.
