India's Chandrayaan-3 Moon Mission Set for July 13 Launch

India is preparing to launch its Chandrayaan 3 mission to the moon on July 13. The mission, which consists of a lunar lander and rover, aims to demonstrate safe landing and roving capabilities on the lunar surface. Chandrayaan 3 will carry six science instruments to gather data during its mission, and its propulsion module will also study Earth from afar to aid in the search for exoplanets. If successful, India will become the fourth entity to soft-land a craft on the moon, following the Soviet Union, the U.S., and China.
