Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy published an open letter to Vladimir Putin proposing a direct meeting to negotiate an end to more than four years of war, arguing that most Russians want peace and advocating a full ceasefire during negotiations; he urged setting a date and suggested Switzerland, Turkey, or Arab nations could host, while warning Kyiv will continue fighting if Moscow refuses; the Kremlin said Putin would be briefed on the proposal.
