Ellison scrubs plan to dump up to $7.5B of Oracle stock
Larry Ellison canceled his plan to sell up to 50 million Oracle shares, about $7.5 billion at the current price, under a 10b5-1 trading plan that had been disclosed. No shares have been sold and Ellison says there are no further sale plans. He remains Oracle’s controlling shareholder (over 40%), as the company pivots to AI infrastructure, carries a heavy debt load, and its stock has fallen roughly 23% this year.
