
Oscars Revisit Speech Rules After KPop Demon Hunters Win
At the Oscars, the KPop Demon Hunters’ song “Golden” was cut off during its Best Original Song moment. Walt Disney Television executive VP Rob Mills says the producers will rethink how speeches are timed for next year, including potential one-speaker design and backstage/social feeds. The win marks a historic first for a K-pop song, with writers EJAE and Yu-Han Lee finishing their remarks backstage after the live cut.
