Snapdragon C Debuts in Budget Laptop With Acer Aspire Go 15 at Computex
At Computex 2026, Acer unveiled the Aspire Go 15, the first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon C platform, a budget, energy‑efficient SoC aimed at quiet daily computing. The 15.6-inch device offers a 1080p display, basic I/O (2× USB-C, HDMI 1.4, USB‑A, audio), Wi‑Fi 6E, and a 1080p webcam, with up to 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. Qualcomm says Snapdragon C machines will start around $300, but Acer hasn’t announced pricing or release date yet. The laptop was mostly behind glass; Copilot isn’t fully supported on Snapdragon C, and the design highlights sustainability with recyclable packaging, targeting light-use tasks rather than heavy multitasking.
