Verge tests Insta360’s Go 3S with a new Retro Viewfinder that lets you frame shots like a tiny handheld camera, but the viewing angle is very limited and the preview is flipped, so framing precisely is awkward; you still can’t see the full wide field of view before shooting and you must connect to the phone app for settings, while battery life is short and the clip-on charger/extra battery is clunky. The accessory is inexpensive on its own, but for practical use the Retro Bundle with the Go 3S and an Action Pod offers a better experience.
