Met Police Not Investigating London Real Estate Event as ASA Probes Ads
London's Metropolitan Police say they are not investigating the Great Israeli Real Estate Event held in Edgware, after the government asked the Advertising Standards Authority to probe ads for properties tied to Israeli settlements; the ICJP provided evidence to police, while the UK War Crimes/CTP has dozens of referrals related to the Israel-Hamas conflict but no UK-based probe into this event. Mayor Sadiq Khan and Green Party MP Ellie Chowns have criticized the event, and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said authorities will reassess if there is evidence of illegal-settlement advertising on UK soil.
