Israel launches 'Wings of Dawn' to complete Bnei Menashe aliyah
Israel welcomed 240 new immigrants from India’s Bnei Menashe as it kicked off Operation Wings of Dawn to complete the community’s aliyah, with about 600 more expected in three waves this year and up to 6,000 by 2030. The newcomers, many young families, will be housed in absorption centers in northern Israel as government bodies, the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), and partner groups coordinate reunifications and long‑term integration from Mizoram and Manipur.
