Fossil Hunter Discovers T. Rex Cousin in Sussex
An amateur fossil hunter, Dave Brockhurst, has discovered significant dinosaur fossils in Sussex, including teeth from a tyrannosaur, spinosaur, and dromaeosaurid, revealing a diverse range of predators in the region 135 million years ago. These findings, analyzed by the University of Southampton, highlight the rich prehistoric ecosystem of the area, which was once a warm river delta.
