Van der Breggen storms Les Praeres to take Vuelta Femenina stage 6 and the GC lead
Anna van der Breggen (SD Worx-Protime) powered away on the brutal 3.7km Les Praeres finish (with gradients up to 27%) to win stage 6 of the Vuelta Femenina and move into the overall lead, finishing eight seconds clear of Paula Blasi with Marion Bunel third after Cedrine Kerbaol’s early attack on the climb was neutralized and the breakaway was swept up before the finish.
