Amazon has started discounting Apple's new Mac mini lineup with the M6 chip ahead of its Sept. 22 launch, lowering the 16GB RAM/256GB SSD to $879.99 and the 16GB/512GB to $1,069.99, plus $29 off an M5 Pro 24GB/512GB for $1,669.99; Apple says the M6 delivers up to 40% faster CPU, up to 4x AI performance, and up to 2x faster graphics and storage versus the prior-gen M4-based model.
