The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History in Albuquerque is hosting an exhibition called "At Play In the Atomic Age," featuring over 100 toys, games, and gizmos related to post-war pop culture and the promotion of atomic energy. The exhibit showcases references to nuclear energy in various forms of media, including records, cereal premiums, comic books, and science kits. Interestingly, during the war, toy manufacturers like Lionel Train company were involved in producing Geiger counters and using model trains to transport radioactive materials in laboratories.
