Microsoft is testing its Auto SR, a DLSS-style upscaling feature, on the Xbox Ally X for docked play to boost resolution and frame rates by rendering at a lower resolution and upscaling. The feature is integrated into Windows 11’s Game Bar and will be available to testers via the Xbox Insider program for DirectX 10+ titles, using the Ally X’s NPU to minimize GPU impact. Microsoft and Asus are also improving docking with VRR support for compatible TVs, a new display widget, a Gamepad Cursor, enhanced vibration, and a unified library across PC storefronts.
