Body Language Experts Read Tension in Mamdani’s Gracie Mansion Meeting with Trump
On Monday, President Donald Trump and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani held a joint press conference at Gracie Mansion. While the two men have a history of sharp political insults, recent interactions have shown a shift toward cordiality. Body language experts analyzed the latest meeting, noting that Mamdani appeared anxious and rigid, while Trump remained expressive and physically engaged. The meeting focused on federal funding for a Queens housing project and immigration, with Trump inviting Mamdani to the White House to 'see how he works.'
