Kisunla therapy linked to surprising brain plaque clearance in Broward Alzheimer's patient
A 79-year-old Pompano Beach man, Scott Milinsky, became Florida’s second patient to receive Kisunla, Eli Lilly’s anti-amyloid Alzheimer’s drug, at Broward Health North. After 18 infusions over about 18 months, a final PET scan showed the brain’s amyloid plaques were cleared, offering hope by slowing cognitive decline—though it is not a cure since TAU tangles persist. The Broward Health center is treating more than 60 patients with Kisunla.
