Ohio State revealed two new football uniforms—Scarlet Rush and Sub Zero—with Buckeye Stripes; Scarlet Rush is an all-scarlet look (silver helmet) inspired by the 'Scarlet the Shoe' atmosphere, while Sub Zero is an all-white design (silver helmet) first worn in 2020. Ohio State officially reintroduces its gray/silver Buckeye Stripes on the primary uniforms, now in metallic silver designed with Nike to better match the helmets. The move brings back a tradition last worn in 2006 and adds updates like a Block O collar and an Ohio Stadium–inspired collar detail. The change followed fan demand and spring-game teases, with the new home uniforms debuting Sept. 5 against Ball State and road whites Sept. 12 against Texas.
