Pippen Crosses Rivalry Line, Transfers from Michigan to Ohio State
Justin Pippen, a guard who played for Michigan and Cal, has committed to Ohio State via the transfer portal, adding depth to the Buckeyes’ backcourt as the heated Michigan–Ohio State rivalry continues. At Cal this season he averaged 14.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.9 rebounds and earned All-ACC honorable mention, while he appeared in 28 games for Michigan in 2024-25 with 1.6 points per game. The move follows a pattern of crossovers between the programs, including Roddy Gayle Jr. and Andrew Dakich.
