"NASA Seeks Volunteers for Yearlong Mars Simulation Mission"
NASA is seeking volunteers for its Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA) missions, which simulate year-long stays on the surface of Mars. The second mission is scheduled for spring 2025 and will involve a four-person crew living and working inside a 3D-printed habitat at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Ideal candidates are healthy, motivated U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 30-55 with a master’s degree in a STEM field and relevant experience.
