The Kennedy Center removed references to Donald Trump from its website following a U.S. district court order that the center cannot rename itself without congressional action; a deadline to remove all Trump references was set for June 12, 2026. Despite the changes, the front of the building still bears Trump’s name, and the judge’s ruling also paused renovations connected to a Trump-backed project. Trump criticized the ruling on social media.
