
Raleigh courthouse shooting leaves two lawyers wounded; suspect in custody
Two attorneys were shot outside the Wake County Courthouse in Raleigh after a civil hearing; the 57-year-old suspect, Gwendolyn White, is in custody and faces two counts of attempted murder. The victims, Mary Harris and Jeffrey Whitley, were hospitalized, and White is also hospitalized. The incident occurred during a civil case connection, the courthouses were closed for the day, and investigators continued probing the events leading up to the shooting.
