Nanoparticles and Single Atoms: New Sources of Quantum Light for Computing and Communication.
MIT researchers have developed a new source of quantum light using nanoparticles made of CsPbBr3, an inorganic lead halide perovskite material. The use of photons as qubits eliminates the need for expensive and complex equipment, and the new source of quantum light could pave the way for the development of optical quantum computers.
