Monaco bombing suspect unmasked as Ukrainian woman in disguise
The main suspect in Monaco’s bombing is 39-year-old Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian woman who dressed as a man; she’s named in an Interpol Red Notice after the attack that wounded a Ukrainian-born tycoon and others. Prosecutors say the suspect fled to France and then Italy in a German-registered car, with two men previously arrested in Monaco later released for lack of evidence. The bomb’s sophistication suggests more than one perpetrator, as investigations continue into who planned and carried out the attack in Monaco’s highly secure capital.
