Game Boy Camera goes mobile with Epilogue's Flashback app
The Verge reports that Epilogue has released a Flashback mobile app for iOS/Android that lets you use the retro Game Boy Camera with a phone when paired with the $50 GB Operator, letting you capture 128×112, 2‑bit grayscale images and apply one of 32 color palettes. The app can read data from the camera sensor to preserve the original look, and it also offers a software mode that simulates the camera if you don’t own the hardware. Photos save to the phone’s Camera Roll, and the GB Operator + Flashback combo provides a cheaper alternative to the Analogue Pocket for Game Boy Camera enthusiasts.
