Ancient Saqqara mastaba reveals 4,400-year-old tomb with intact colours
A Spanish-Egyptian team unearthed a richly preserved late Fifth Dynasty mastaba at Saqqara dating to about 2494–2345 BC, featuring two funerary chapels and reliefs of farming scenes and processions that retain their original colours, shedding light on ancient Egyptian administration, daily life and necropolis organization.
