
Vollering seals second Tour de France Femmes crown with late-stage surge
Demi Vollering clinched her second Tour de France Femmes title by winning the final 99.2km mountain stage in Nice, having seized the yellow jersey from Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney in the penultimate stage. She finished more than a minute clear of rivals, with Niewiadoma-Phinney runner-up and Elisa Longo Borghini third, as Vollering cemented her status with a decisive late attack on the final climb.
