Thousands attend illegal Bourges-area rave at French military site despite unexploded ordnance risk
An illegal rave at a military site near Bourges in central France drew tens of thousands over the weekend as organisers expected up to 30,000 attendees; authorities warned the location may contain older unexploded ordnance and urged revellers to avoid nearby woods. About 600 police and 45 firefighters were deployed; roughly 20,000 had gathered by Saturday, with around a dozen people treated for minor injuries and no major incidents reported.
