Five Arrested in Renoir Museum Heist Investigation
French authorities have arrested at least five individuals in connection with the September theft of two paintings from the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer. While two other stolen works were recovered, the missing pieces, 'Portrait of Madame Colonna Romano' and 'Jeune fille au puits', remain unaccounted for. Local media suggest the suspects may belong to an organized criminal gang, though prosecutors have not confirmed the arrests.
