"Mars' Winter Chills: Seeking Signs of Breath and Frost"
NASA's Curiosity rover on Mars is conducting a two-sol plan that includes imaging, contact science, and a frost experiment. The rover is taking stereo mosaics of the Mt. Sharp foothills, a nearby field of sand ripples, and little craters. It is also performing contact science on rough and protruding rock targets, as well as searching for frost in the cold Martian morning. The rover is taking observations of soil, measuring relative humidity and temperature, and assessing dust coverage. Additionally, it is navigating challenging terrain and taking post-drive imaging.
