
Ukraine launches sweeping cabinet reshuffle after prime minister resigns
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko resigned as President Zelenskyy launched a major government reshuffle, saying Kyiv is changing its political strategy and assigning each foreign policy priority to an experienced official; parliament must approve the resignation, which would trigger the entire government’s dissolution, with further changes planned in law-enforcement leadership. Svyrydenko, who was appointed PM in July 2025 at 39, thanked the team and said she remains ready to serve in a new role, while Zelenskyy did not name a successor.
