Trump Aide Pivot: Gaza Focus Replaces Iran/Ukraine Duties
Josh Gruenbaum, a rapid-rising former head of the GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service who grew close to Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, will be pulled off Russia/Ukraine and Iran policy work and shifted to Gaza-focused duties as a senior adviser to the Board of Peace—an international body operating independently of the U.S. government and chaired by Trump. He will still advise on Gaza but no longer hold a central White House foreign-policy portfolio, moving away from the West Wing and toward a specialized Gaza role.
