Kerry Pugh, a mother of three, died of cervical cancer after doctors incorrectly reported her 2018 cervical smear test as normal, despite severe cell changes being present. The misdiagnosis led to a delayed diagnosis and treatment, ultimately resulting in her passing at the age of 48. Her husband is considering legal action against the hospital trust and urges women to be aware of the signs of the disease.
