Ink contamination prompts 29-state tofu recall
The FDA recalled more than 10,000 cases of Hodo Lightly Fried Chili Crisp Tofu sold across 29 states due to possible ink contamination. The recall began Aug. 7 and affects products with UPC 850565007842 and use-by dates May–Nov 2026, tied to specific lot codes: 260423 (08/22/2026), 260521 (09/19/2026), 260611 (10/10/2026), 260625 (10/24/2026), and 260709 (11/07/2026).
