
Ohio State President Steps Down Over Inappropriate Relationship and Access Concerns
Ohio State University president Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. has resigned after disclosing an inappropriate relationship involving someone seeking public resources for a personal business; the Board of Trustees accepted his resignation. Carter, OSU’s 17th president who began on Jan. 1, 2024 after being named in 2023, apologized for the mistake and said a transition plan will be announced in the coming days.
