Nintendo has released Pictonico!, a free-to-start mobile title co-developed with Intelligent Systems that turns user photos into mini-games. A free demo is available, with paid game volumes unlocking up to 80 minigames (Volume 1: 50 games for $8; Volume 2: 30 games for $6). The app can be played offline after initial launch, though an internet connection is required at first launch and for certain actions like purchasing, updating, or changing region/language. Nintendo states photos stay on-device and aren’t uploaded. The concept draws comparisons to WarioWare/Face Raiders and has generated mixed reactions as it arrives on mobile.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have released the version 2.0.0 update and Expansion Pass Wave 4 for Fire Emblem Engage, which includes a new story scenario, characters, locations, and maps. The update also adds compatibility with Wave 4 of the Expansion Pass and collaboration content with the smartphone app Fire Emblem Heroes, which can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.
