Nintendo Turns Your Photos into 80 Mini-Games with Pictonico!

Nintendo today announced Pictonico!, a co-developed mobile game with Intelligent Systems that transforms users’ photos into 80 mini-games. The game uses a free-to-start model: you can try a few minigames for free, then purchase game volumes to unlock all 80. An online check is required on first launch and for purchases, but you can play offline afterward; updates and certain save backups may still need a network. Nintendo also notes that photos aren’t sent to Nintendo. Pictonico! launches May 28, 2026 on Android and iOS.
