Houthi Ballistic Strike on Yemen Training Camp Kills 58, Wounds 200
Iran-backed Houthis launched three ballistic missiles at the al-Alam training camp in Shabwa, Yemen, killing at least 58 security recruits and injuring over 200. This is the deadliest single incident since hostilities resumed in September. The attack targeted new recruits undergoing training, prompting Yemeni President Rashad al-Alimi to condemn the act as a war crime and vow a firm response. Houthi officials claimed the site was run by Saudi officers, while government sources emphasized it was a civilian training center far from active frontlines.
