Irvine McLaren Crash Kills Two, Including South OC Cars and Coffee Co-Founder
A high-speed crash in Irvine killed two people in a 2019 McLaren near Culver Drive and Deerfield Avenue. Police say the car, stopped at a red light, accelerated at the light change, lost control, struck a tree, split in two and caught fire; one victim was later identified as 27-year-old James Wehr, co-founder of the South OC Cars and Coffee Instagram page, with the second victim not yet identified.
