
Benton, Rogers and Miller Lead Broadway’s School Girls: The African Mean Girls Play
Denée Benton, Jasmine Amy Rogers, and Patina Miller will star in the Broadway premiere of School Girls; Or The African Mean Girls Play, Jocelyn Bioh’s comedy about a Ghanaian boarding school and a Miss Ghana pageant, directed by Whitney White at the Manhattan Theatre Club’s Friedman Theatre, with performances starting Sept. 8 ahead of a Sept. 28 opening; the cast also includes Erin Morton, Lucia Aremu, Nia Otchere-Sarfo, Jordan Rice and Heather Alicia Simms.
