Travis Barker Details Daughter's Foreboding Warning Before Fatal Flight
Travis Barker opened up on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast about the 2008 plane crash, sharing his daughter Alabama’s chilling warning—‘Dad, don’t go’ and ‘the roof’s gonna come off’—and his preflight doubts. He had even considered canceling the gig and asked his father to look after his kids. After takeoff, a loud bang, smoke, and a fire ensued as the plane went out of control; the pilots, Barker’s assistant, and his bodyguard died, while DJ AM survived but died a year later. Barker says the experience left him fearing death and has colored his life in the years since, including coping with Goldstein’s passing.
