
Bruins land JJ Peterka from Utah Mammoth in multi-pick deal
Boston acquires forward JJ Peterka from the Utah Mammoth in exchange for the Bruins’ 2026 first-round pick (23rd overall) and Florida’s 2028 first-round pick, with a potential swap to Boston’s unprotected 2029 first-round pick if Florida’s 2028 pick lands in the top 10. Peterka, 24, played 82 games for Utah in 2025-26 with 25 goals and 22 assists, and has career highs of 68 points (Buffalo, 2024-25) and 50 points (2023-24). He has 320 NHL games with 92 goals and 105 assists, and has represented Germany at the Olympics and World Championships. Drafted by Buffalo in 2020 (34th overall).
