Six States sue over plan to pay to halt offshore wind projects
Six states filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over a deal paying nearly $1 billion to TotalEnergies to cancel two offshore wind projects off New York and North Carolina, arguing the agreement violates the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act and Judgment Fund Act, and seeking to block the deal to protect jobs and clean-energy investment.
