Netflix reshuffles its animation leadership, naming Hannah Minghella Head of Netflix Animation Studios to oversee animation across three facilities and more than 1,000 employees, while Kira Goldberg expands into live-action family films. Minghella will drive the animation slate and franchises across divisions, with projects including Steps, Ray Gunn, The Buried Giant, a Mitchells vs. the Machines sequel, In Waves, and an animated Charlie and the Chocolate Factory planned for 2027. Goldberg will oversee live-action family titles in addition to her current duties. Both remain in Netflix’s brain trust led by Dan Lin as animation continues to be a growth engine for the company.
