Bubble Up makes a comeback as a nostalgic cane-sugar lemon-lime soda
Bubble Up, a 1919 lemon-lime soda once widely stocked but later hampered by ownership changes, distribution issues, and bankruptcy, was acquired by the Dad’s Root Beer makers in 2007 and is now produced in limited runs as a premium cane-sugar drink with natural lemon and lime oils. It’s available at select grocers, specialty soda shops, and online (about $3.49 per 12-ounce bottle).
