Cannes Grants Victorian Psycho a 7-Minute Standing Ovation
Bleecker Street’s horror-thriller Victorian Psycho, directed by Zachary Wigon and led by Maika Monroe as Winifred Notty, drew a seven-minute standing ovation at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard program. The 1858-set mystery, also starring Ruth Wilson and Thomasin McKenzie, follows an eccentric governess as staff vanish at a remote manor and is slated for a Sept. 25 North American release.
