Eagles bring in Marquise Brown on short-term deal to bolster WR depth
The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly signed veteran wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $6.5 million (exact value TBD), adding speed and veteran depth to a group lacking proven depth behind the top receivers. Brown, a seven-year veteran who has played for the Ravens, Cardinals, and Chiefs, is known for his speed (4.27 40-yard dash in college) but has not consistently been a big-play threat, and Philadelphia is expected to continue adding low-cost veteran receivers to round out the depth chart.
