Myles Garrett inks five-year Rams contract with big guarantees
Myles Garrett signed a five-year deal with the Rams for 2026–2030 that preserves the overall payout of his prior Browns contract while shifting guarantees forward. The package includes a $35.7 million signing bonus, base salaries around $1.3 million in the early years, option and per‑game roster bonuses totaling roughly $510,000 annually, and $37 million guaranteed at signing with about $62 million guaranteed for injury that becomes fully guaranteed by 2027. In practice it functions as a three-year deal with team-held options for 2029 and 2030, forcing a quick decision on those later years.
