Scientists Determine Human Lifespan Limit
Researchers from Tilburg and Rotterdam's Erasmus University in the Netherlands have determined that the maximum human lifespan is approximately 115.7 years for women and 114.1 years for men. This conclusion was drawn from a study of 75,000 deceased individuals over 30 years, indicating that while average life expectancy has increased, the maximum lifespan has not changed. These findings align with similar research in the U.S., suggesting a plateau in human lifespan despite exceptions like Jeanne Louise Calment, who lived to 122 years.
