Mitsubishi Unveils Fifth-Generation Pajero as Global Flagship
Mitsubishi Motors has officially unveiled the fifth-generation Pajero, reviving the iconic nameplate after a seven-year hiatus. The new flagship SUV, set for a 2027 model year, features a ladder-frame chassis, a 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine, and seven driving modes. Production begins in Thailand, with initial sales in Japan, Australia, and approximately 100 other countries. While the vehicle targets global markets, a U.S. launch remains unconfirmed, though the model aims to fill a gap in Mitsubishi’s American lineup.
