
Daylight slaying of Israel’s feared mob boss shocks Caesarea
Yanis Yushvaev, reputed head of Israel’s Caucasian Mafia and one of the country’s most dangerous criminals, was gunned down at a Caesarea gas station by a hooded assassin in broad daylight; video shows the gunman approaching from behind as Yushvaev and companions exit. Police note a long history of violence linked to his gang and say suspects are being sought in connection with the killing.
