Video sparks scrutiny over Muni fatigue after empty-train crash in San Francisco
A video obtained by NorCal Bodycam appears to show a San Francisco Muni operator asleep before a July 31 collision between two empty trains near 47th Avenue and Wawona Street. The SFMTA attributes the incident to operator fatigue and says no one was injured, with a formal investigation underway. The agency has previously attributed a similar September incident to fatigue and launched a fatigue-awareness campaign.
